MY VIEWS ON “MAGADHEERA”

Plot & the story: A Hollywood styled tollywood movie…Actually there is not much story into the plot..It is the love story involving re-incarnation of a princess & the brave knight to reunite in love after 400 years. The villain who is the reason for their deaths is also re-incarnated with his carnal desire towards princess but the brave knight rewrites the story 7 this time it is the turn of the villain to die in vain.

The story moves between the present & the past with each member realizing their past history and the setting in the past is very rich in its looks and the graphics are mainly taken from English movies & games like Prince of Persia & 300. Some stunts of the hero really remind us of “Rajni Kanth’s most electrifying & unforgettable anti-gravity acts”. Also, the love story in the present is not so good & not so appealing.

The movie is a bit different in its approach & has something uncommon from the regular Indian action+love stories which make the movie interesting.

CAST:
Ram Charan: He has some ease in acting & very natural. I have observed this in Chirutha also. He has put his best efforts and except for the few stunts his role is good. Dance, action, body & action...he has all the ingredients. He has been very well groomed to be the future face of telugu film hero.

KAJAL: She looks very beautiful in this movie & very good looking as a princess.

VILLAIN: He is a new comer but he has done his role very well.

SRIHARI: His action in the flash back role is very nice.

MUSIC: Music is good.

Dialogues: Not too good not too bad.

Screen play & Direction: This is purely a directorial movie. As usual Raja mouli plays the lead role behind the scenes by showing to the audience what he imagined in the most presentable form. His efforts in making his movies are unquestionable. Nevertheless of whom he selects as hero he will be the final hero in making his movie a success.

Visual Effects: The visual effects are appealing, the stunts part is lagging. I don’t know why they will not try to make it look a little real at least when it comes to the stunts section. Scenes like Hero jumping 25m on Bike, the jeep hitting the helicopter in the climax, hero jumping into the castle from the hill defying the gravity are really thought provoking.

My overall rating for the movie will be not more than 3.5 for 5.
